Learning for a Sustainable Future, Acting Now
I became an educator because I believe the transformative power of education. Education must empower students will the skills and mindsets required to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Instead of preparing students for the future, we must empower students to shape their own path by providing authentic, real world experiences that have the potential to effect positive change. I am inspired by youth who are already taking action and I feel hopeful about the potential of education for sustainability to transform our world.
